The paved trail that stitches Eddie V. Gray, Bicentennial, neighborhoods, and Bayland Park into one walk. Official length is 5.69 miles. The easy on-ramp is the Wetlands Center lot at 1724 Market Street; the south end is Bayland Park on 146 Business, with fishing piers and the Buddy McBride ramps as the payoff if you go that far.

Do a piece, not the whole thing, unless you brought water and a hat. Coastal, woods, residential, commercial — it is not a preserve loop. It is how the city actually connects. Free. Parks: (281) 420-6597.

  • 5.69 miles
  • fishing piers
  • greenbelt
  • Bayland connection

Local tip. Wetlands Center is closed Sunday; the trail is not. Park there anyway and walk.
