Hyatt Regency Baytown – Houston

The stay that makes Baytown feel like a destination instead of an I-10 exit. On the water at Bayland Marina: channel views, a lobby bar that watches tankers, an outdoor pool, and Anchor & Hearth downstairs so you do not have to get back in the car for dinner.

This is the one to book if the trip is the Nature Center, the bridge, and a patio. There is no boutique B&B downtown. Garth hotels are cheaper and closer to H-E-B. They do not look at ships. Same address as the restaurant: 100 Convention Center Way. (281) 987-1234.

  • ship-channel views
  • marina
  • outdoor pool
  • Anchor & Hearth

Local tip. Book the water view. Walk the marina at dusk. Dinner downstairs Tuesday–Saturday 5–9 — reservations on Tock. Breakfast is the restaurant, not a free buffet.
